The Pug Dog Club of BC working together with the Pug Dog Club of the Lower Mainland are sister clubs that together service the entire province of BC.

We believe in the utmost attention to the breed and thus we have kept extensive records on almost every aspect of the Pug and many of your questions will be answered in these pages. For health & other questions, check out the questions & answers section of this website.

The Code of Ethics of the Society (PDCBC/and the PDCLM):

THE ETHICS OF THE PUG DOG CLUB OF BRITISH COLUMBIA/ and the PUG DOG CLUB OF THE LOWER MAINLAND SHALL BE UNDERSTOOD TO IMPLY THAT MEMBERS SHALL BEHAVE LIKE LADIES AND GENTLEMEN AND SHALL CO-OPERATE WITH THE OFFICERS AND THE REMAINDER OF THE SOCIETY'S MEMBERSHIP IN THE INTEREST OF PEACE AND HARMONY. EACH MEMBER SHOULD REFRAIN FROM GOSSIP AND FROM FURTHERING RUMOURS. GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP SHALL BE EXPECTED OF ALL MEMBERS, AND TO FURTHER THIS END THEY SHOULD FAMILIARISE THEMSELVES WITH THE RULINGS OF THE CANADIAN KENNEL CLUB AS WELL AS THOSE OF THE PUG DOG CLUB OF BRITISH COLUMBIA. ANY MEMBER FOUND GUILTY OF FRAUDULENT OR DISHONOURABLE PRACTICE IN CONNECTION WITH DOGS: BREEDING, SELLING, DOG SHOWS, OTHER COMPETITIONS, OR THE CARE OF THE SAME, OR WHO HAS ACTED IN VIOLATION OF THE SOCIETY'S ETHICS, SHALL BE LIABLE TO DISCIPLINE OR EXPULSION AFTER A SPECIAL HEARING DESCRIBED IN ARTICLE IV (2a) AND.(2b). ALL MEMBERS SHOULD STRIVE TO DEAL WITH EACH OTHER AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC IN AN EXEMPLARY FASHION, WITH COMPASSION. EACH MEMBER SHOULD ATTEMPT TO SET A GOOD EXAMPLE AND IN SO DOING ADVANCE THE INTERESTS OF THE BREED.
